MARIANAS TRENCH | I'VE MISSED YOU

My freshman or sophomore year of high school (2012ish) I was on Wattpad reading Death is My BFF (10/10 would recommend) and there was a link to a band called Marianas Trench. I had never heard of them before, and I saw that was because they are Canadian, and although it seems super popular freaking huge in Canada, they are not as big in the U.S (which blows my mind because they are simply amazing). I started listening to their stuff and fell in love. After a few new phones and computers since then I had lost their music and I forgot about them.



Honestly I don't know how I could because they are beautiful and make beautiful music. But about three days ago they popped up on my YouTube feed and I almost screamed. It was a video for their new song "This Means War" which is amazing (but duh it's Marianas Trench) and then I started listening to all my old favorite songs and it just took me back. I have now rewatched all their music videos, behind the scenes, etc. and now am dying to see them live. Josh's hair has definitely changed since I last saw them, but I kinda love it.

All I have to say is that the artistry that Marianas Trench uses to create their music is mind blowing and so beautiful. I highly recommend giving them a listen and appreciating the art. Also the music videos they come up with are so beautiful and the art and backstory involved in them is beyond words.

If you live in Canada I envy you. If you live in any other place in the world, please, please, do yourself a favor and listen to these guys. This stuff is real music and every song gives me life.
